Chicago, see Bradley Cooper in Burnt early and for free

Bradley Cooper once again buttons up his chef’s jacket for this fall’s Burnt. Similar to his role in the short-lived sitcom Kitchen Confidential (where he played an Anthony Bourdain proxy) Cooper is chef Adam Jones, a hot-headed culinary genius whose bad boy antics and tendency to abuse drugs often get in the way of his ability to create delicious dishes. The film, from August: Osage County director John Wells, follows Jones as he attempts to rehabilitate his career and chases a life-changing Michelin star rating for his restaurant. For those likely to salivate at the site of food porn (or Bradley Cooper, for that matter), Burnt is sure to serve up quite a cinematic treat. The stacked cast also includes Sienna Miller, Emma Thompson, Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, and Uma Thurman. Burnt hits theaters on October 30, but The A.V. Club and The Weinstein Company have an opportunity for you to see if for free on October 26. An official plot synopsis and trailer for the film can be found below.

“Chef Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) had it all – and lost it. The former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene had earned two Michelin stars and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive star though, Jones will need to leave his bad habits behind and get the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). Burnt is a remarkably funny and emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.”
