Chicago, see Dan Stevens in The Guest early and for free
Stepping away from the more refined style of Downton Abbey and being British, Dan Stevens stars in the action-packed thriller, The Guest. Stevens plays David, a young soldier who arrives at the Peterson residence claiming to be a good friend of their fallen son. The family is pleased to host their guest, but when a string of murders plagues the town, the Petersons’ teenage daughter begins to wonder if David is involved. (And if he would be a good prospect for marriage.) The Guest opens in theaters September 17, but The A.V. Club has an opportunity for you to attend an early screening September 15, here in Chicago.
