Chicago, see Daniel Day-Lewis in Phantom Thread for free

Phantom Thread, Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest collaboration with Daniel Day-Lewis and (supposedly) the celebrated actor’s final film role, is currently expanding nationwide. The film took the No. 3 spot on The A.V. Club’s list of the best films of 2017, on which our own Ignatiy Vishnevetsky said about the film, “the film’s enigmatic and evasive qualities are part and parcel to its psychological portraiture. It’s a beautiful film to get lost in.”

We’ve got an opportunity for our readers in Chicago to get lost in this elegant and enigmatic movie on January 11, the day before its debut in 70mm at the Music Box Theatre. The screening will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Landmark Century Centre Cinema (2828 N. Clark St.), and to reserve your seat just follow this link and fill out the form. Just keep in mind that advance screenings intentionally overbook, so get there early if you want to make sure you get a seat.

Phantom Thread opens in Chicago on January 12, with a nationwide expansion scheduled for January 19.
