Chicago, see James Franco and Jonah Hill in True Story early and for free

Last time they worked together, Apatow buds James Franco and Jonah Hill were making dick jokes during the Apocalypse. This time around, they flex their Oscar-nominated acting muscles to tackle True Story, a film that is, believe it or not, based on a true story. The film comes from first time feature director Rupert Goold and co-stars a fellow Oscar nominee in Felicity Jones. True Story opens everywhere on April 17, but The A.V. Club and Fox Searchlight Pictures have an opportunity for you to win two tickets to see it for free on April 14. For your chance to win a pair of passes to the advance screening, simply follow the link here and enter your information. Even with passes, seats for the screening are first come, first served, so be sure to arrive early. An official plot synopsis and trailer can be found below.

“When disgraced New York Times reporter Michael Finkel (Jonah Hill) meets accused killer Christian Longo (James Franco) – who has taken on Finkel’s identity – his investigation morphs into an unforgettable game of cat-and-mouse. Based on actual events, Finkel’s relentless pursuit of Longo’s true story encompasses murder, love, deceit and redemption.”
