Chicago, see Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore in Seventh Son early and for free
After post-production delays and a switch from one distributor to another, fantasy epic Seventh Son will finally see the light of day a full two years after its original premiere date. The film, adapted from the novel The Last Apprentice, follows the story of a prophesied “chosen one” who falls into the middle of a war between Jeff Bridges’ grizzled warrior and Julianne Moore’s evil queen, last seen on-screen together in the Coen brothers’ The Big Lebowski. If you’re a fan of dragons and dark magic and The Dude, then we’ve got an opportunity for you to see Seventh Son two days early on February 4. “In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges) travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son (Ben Barnes). Torn from his quiet life as a farmhand, the unlikely young hero embarks on a daring adventure with his battle-hardened mentor to vanquish a dark queen (Julianne Moore) and the army of supernatural assassins she has dispatched against their kingdom.”
