Chicago, see Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates early and for free
Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates is a movie based on a book inspired by a Craigslist post. That’s got to be a first, right? When real-life brothers Mike and Dave Stangle posted their ad for wedding dates on Craiglist, they tasted fleeting viral fame, which led to a hunger they could only abate by writing a book about their wild exploits. Now their tales of debauchery will be brought to the big screen with a little help from Zac Efron and Adam DeVine. Luckily for us, Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza (as the titular wedding dates) are on hand to rescue the movie from collapsing under the sheer bro of it all.
Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates opens nationwide on July 8, but The A.V. Club and 20th Century Fox have an opportunity for you to see it for free on Wednesday, June 29. For your chance to win a pair of passes to the advance screening, simply enter your information here. Remember: Advance screenings are often intentionally overbooked, so be sure to arrive early if you want to guarantee yourself a seat. An official plot synopsis and trailer for the film can be found below.
Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
