Chicago, see The Legend Of Hercules early and for free

Kellen Lutz is perhaps best known to wide audiences as Emmett Cullen, Edward’s adoptive brother, in the Twilight films. But he’s also starred in an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan, and plays the titular hero in Renny Harlin’s The Legend Of Hercules. Unlike the Brett Ratner film with The Rock scheduled for the summer, this version of Hercules is designed as a revenge epic, with the mythical demigod fighting his way back from exile and slavery in order to depose his evil stepfather on Earth.

The Legend Of Hercules opens in Chicago on January 10, but we’ve got passes to an early screening on Thursday, January 9 in Chicago. Just follow this link to Gofobo and enter the code AVCLUB988A to RSVP. Read a synopsis and watch the trailer below. Remember, passes don't guarantee admission, so arrive early.

In the epic origin story THE LEGEND OF HERCULES, Kellan Lutz stars as the mythical Greek hero — the son of Zeus, a half-god, half-man blessed with extraordinary strength.  Betrayed by his stepfather, the King, and exiled and sold into slavery because of a forbidden love, Hercules must use his formidable powers to fight his way back to his rightful kingdom.  Through harrowing battles and gladiator-arena death matches, Hercules embarks on a legendary odyssey to overthrow the King and restore peace to the land.
