Chicago, see The Purge: Anarchy early and for free
Following the success of The Purge, the world has been dying (get it?) to watch more murder and mayhem from the comfort of their safe houses. Rest easy, friends, the next installment, The Purge: Anarchy, hits theaters this July. Set in the same world as the first film, Anarchy follows the story of a young couple who must survive after their car breaks down in the middle of the city on the evening of the annual purge. Why they didn’t heed the manufacturer’s recommendation to have the oil changed every 3,000 miles is only part of the mystery. The film opens nationwide July 18, but The A.V. Club has an opportunity for you to attend an early screening here in Chicago, July 15. Simply text the word SURVIVE along with your zip code to 43549, to opt-out text the word “STOP.” Thirty randomly selected winners will be notified July 8. Remember, seating is first come, first serve; so arrive early! A trailer for the film can be found below.
