Chicago, see Will Smith and Margot Robbie in Focus early and for free
It’s been a little while since Will Smith has headlined a movie, but Focus will return the blockbuster actor to top billing with a little help from The Wolf Of Wall Street’s Margot Robbie. Crazy, Stupid, Love directors, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, helm the tale of a con man and con woman who face some huge problems when trying to pull off “the big con.” Focus opens nationwide on February 27, but The A.V. Club and Warner Bros. have an opportunity for you to see the film for free on Monday, February 23. “Will Smith stars as Nicky, a seasoned master of misdirection who becomes romantically involved with novice con artist Jess (Margot Robbie). As he’s teaching her the tricks of the trade, she gets too close for comfort and he abruptly breaks it off. Three years later, the former flame—now an accomplished femme fatale—shows up in Buenos Aires in the middle of the high stakes racecar circuit. In the midst of Nicky’s latest, very dangerous scheme, she throws his plans for a loop…and the consummate con man off his game.”
