Chicago, see X-Men: Days Of Future Past in the future and for free
Like Bill and Ted before them, the X-Men are taking their history-altering talents back in time for the new film, X-Men: Days Of Future Past. The story follows Wolverine and the other present-day X-Men as they team up with their younger selves from the past to fight for the future of all human and mutant-kind. Also, Peter Dinklage is there, but no one really knows why. (Or should we say when?) The film opens nationwide May 23, but The A.V. Club has an opportunity for you to attend an early screening May 20, here in Chicago at 7:00 p.m. Follow the link here and enter the code AVCLUBPHNU for a chance to receive passes. Winners will be notified by May 15. Remember, seating is first come, first serve; so arrive early! A synopsis and trailer for the film can be found below.
“The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from the past, “X-Men: First Class,” in order to change a major historical event and fight in an epic battle that could save our future.”
