Chicago, win tickets to an Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown premiere event

Anthony Bourdain’s food and travel series, Parts Unknown, returns to CNN this spring with all new episodes in all new cities. It’s been running five seasons so far, but Bourdain is only just now getting around to bringing his show to the city of Chicago, a true food mecca known as the home of a whole mess of sloppy, signature eats, like deep dish pizza and Italian beef. Ahead of its debut, CNN and The Food Film Festival are hosting a Chicago premiere of the episodes on April 27 at Begyle Brewery with a special “Taste What You See On The Screen” experience. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are already sold out, but The A.V. Club has an opportunity for one of its readers to win two highly-coveted spots on the guest list.

For your chance to win a pair of tickets, simply send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Parts Unknown.” Be sure to include your name and mailing address in the body of the email. Must be 21+ to enter. On Friday, April 1 (not a joke), we’ll select one random winner from our eligible entries and notify them via email that day. The winner’s name will be placed on the event guest list with a +1. For more information about the event, head to The Food Film Fest’s website. A synopsis of Parts Unknown’s Chicago episode can be found below.

Chicago’s iconic Old Town Ale House and its colorful patrons are the gateway to Bourdain’s tour of the “City by the Lake,” which includes the host dining on breaded steak sandwiches at Ricobene’s with music producer Steve Albini, sampling Mapo Doufu at Chinatown’s Sze Chuan with Chef Stephanie Izard, and a home cooked meal with Chicago-raised rapper Lupe Fiasco and his mom, plus a tour of comedy mecca Second City with mainstage performer Paul Jurewicz.
