"Chinese Food" actually made the Billboard Hot 100

Thanks in part to Billboard’s decision earlier this year to include YouTube plays in its calculations, ridiculously stupid (and fairly insulting) viral clip “Chinese Food” has made the magazine’s Hot 100. The track from 12-year-old Alison Gold landed at No. 29 on this week’s chart, and at No. 5 on Billboard’s list of top streaming songs. Not bad for a manufactured pop song written and produced by ARK Music Factory, the same company behind Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and Nicole Westbrook's "Thanksgiving."

The track has been played about 5 million times since first being uploaded on Oct. 14, and is terrible.
