Chloë Sevigny and Adam Brody to star in Whit Stillman’s Amazon pilot
Amazon confirmed this morning that in addition to Hand Of God, the previously announced hourlong drama starring Ron Pearlman and Garret Dillahunt, it’s also ordered a pilot of Whit Stillman’s The Cosmopolitans, starring Chloë Sevigny and Adam Brody. The Cosmopolitans will be about a group of young Americans in Paris looking for love and friendship.
Stillman worked with Brody on his last film, Damsels In Distress, and with Sevigny on the one before that, The Last Days Of Disco. This will be the acclaimed indie-film director’s first foray into television. According to Deadline, The Cosmopolitans will be a half-hour dramedy.
Sevigny and Brody will be joined by Carrie MacLemore, Dree Hemingway, and Shaun Evans. Shooting begins in Paris this week.
