While the original Horrible Bosses movie boasted asshole managers played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, and Kevin Spacey, the sequel is courting Chris Pine to play one of its titular baddies. Pine was named alongside Christoph Waltz as possibly playing a father-son asshole duo, though it now looks like Waltz won’t be available during Bosses’ shooting window. Nevertheless, if Pine gets paired with someone similarly militaristic, he could still pull out some genuine jerk tendencies for the movie. There’s also always the possibility that the film’s director, Sean Anders, could gross up Pine’s pretty face, not unlike what the previous film’s director did with Farrell.
Horrible Bosses 2 opens Nov. 26, 2014, and once again stars Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis, with Jamie Foxx also expected to return.
