Real-life couple Chris Pratt and Anna Faris will play a fictional couple in the upcoming Vacation Friends, a film written by sibling team Tom and Tim Mullen and directed by Hot Tub Time Machine’s Steve Pink. Pratt and Faris will play what Deadline calls “a straitlaced couple on vacation in Mexico.” There they meet another, wilder couple and have some good times—then the vacation ends. But since it’s a movie, the hijinks don’t: That aforementioned wild pair shows up again, hoping to continue their relationship.
Vacation Friends is set to start shooting later this year, presumably after Pratt’s done with the all-out Guardians Of The Galaxy media assault. Pratt and Faris have previously appeared in several movies together, including Take Me Home Tonight, Movie 43, and What’s Your Number?
