Chris Pratt makes good on Super Bowl bet with Chris Evans
While debate over that final Seahawks play will likely continue forever, one Super Bowl related issue has been settled: Chris Pratt made good on his bet with Chris Evans to visit a Boston children’s hospital dressed as Star-Lord after the Patriots beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX.
The whole thing started on Twitter in January when Evans noted that their two home teams were set to battle it out in the Super Bowl. After Pratt returned the smack talk, Evans challenged him to a bet: The loser would appear in costume at a local children’s hospital, wearing the winning team’s jersey.
After the bet went viral, fans of the two Marvel Chrises raised a total of nearly $27,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital and Christopher’s Haven. Following some Super Bowl red carpet photobombing fun with Jimmy Fallon and a stressful game (captured by Ellen Pompeo) in which the Patriots beat the Seahawks 28-24, Pratt made good on his bet by visiting Christopher’s Haven in his Guardians Of The Galaxy Star-Lord ensemble. Evans went along with him, and both Pratt and the hospital shared the adorable photos on Facebook.
And proving there are truly no losers in this story (except the Seahawks who definitely lost), Evans also noted on Twitter that the duo plan to stop by Seattle Children’s Hospital as well.
