Christopher Nolan is reportedly close to bringing in Marion Cotillard for a role in The Dark Knight Rises, most likely playing Talia al Ghul, the daughter of Batman Begins enemy Ra’s al Ghul and the forbidden fruit of villainous loins that’s so often tempted and occasionally married Batman over the years. Should she sign on, of course, Cotillard would be joining a cast that includes her Inception co-stars Tom Hardy and (though still unconfirmed) Joseph Gordon-Levitt, suggesting Nolan should just marry that movie already. Like seriously, get a room.
