Christopher Walken to guest host NPR show on Monday

Anyone who could pretty much listen to Christopher Walken read the phone book should tune into NPR on Monday around 12 p.m. EDT, when the actor will bring his charmingly skewed sense of punctuation and erratic emphasis to guest-hosting The Leonard Lopate Show. Among Walken’s guests: theater director Jack O’Brien, Walken’s recent Broadway co-star Zoe Kazan, dancer Jacques D’Amboise, and chef—and Walken’s childhood friend—Lidia Bastianich, who will bring her mother on to talk about Italian food. It’s sure to be the most captivating hour of NPR since Louis C.K. told Mississippi where babies come from. [HT to Movieline]
