Chvrches has finished recording its second album
Scottish electronic band Chvrches, the group that’s as fun to listen to as it is annoying to type about, has finished recording the tracks for its second studio album. The group announced the news via its Instagram, releasing a photo that seemingly shows a combination of tiredness, joy, and—because this is an Instagram selfie—the requisite duck lips.
The group’s first album, The Bones Of What You Believe, was released to critical acclaim back in 2013, with the lead single, “The Mother We Share,” charting in the U.K. Top 40. (Bones ranked No. 4 in our list of the best albums of 2013.) There’s no word yet on what the recently completed albvm—sorry, album—will be called, or when it will be released; it’ll still need to be mixed and mastered before it can be promoted and released.
