Cirque Du Soleil teaming up with Skrillex to launch a trippy new Vegas nightclub/circle of Hell

Cirque Du Soleil is going EDM. The arty circus troupe has signed up Skrillex and some other big-name DJs to do residencies at its new Las Vegas nightclub. LIGHT opens April 26 at the Mandalay Bay and will feature a bunch of theatrical elements not normally found in a club, like dangling contortionists who are no doubt thrilled about having to wear fuzzy leg warmers. Zedd—along with Sebastian Ingrosso and Baauer, one of the other DJs confirmed to do a lengthy residency at the club—said he envisions the collaboration as sort of “a theater play with music.” (Or rather, like a musical with more wub-wubs and drunk “what happens in Vegas” assholes.)
