Film posters have always been something of an art form that help entice audiences while occasionally creating stirring images that stay with people for decades after the film’s debut. And while most of today’s posters are just the standard photoshop floating heads of the stars of the film, there are some that step outside the boring corporate mold and deliver iconic imagery, though they are far and few in between. But what if those impactful one-sheets were not skilled artistic interpretations of the film but instead simply rendered visual monstrosities created using clip art and Comic Sans? That aesthetic nightmare has finally been brought to life thanks to imgur user Xeonic.

Taking classic posters for films like The Avengers, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Les Miserables, and others, Xeonic has transformed these pieces of big studio art into something hastily put out by a desperate direct-to-video company that simply wants a cover on the shelf, on budget, and with the worst font of all time.
