Cloud Nothings will record, release a "noisier" new record in 2013
Cloud Nothings—the band whose excellent, poppy Attack On Memory came in third in The A.V. Club’s best music of 2012 poll—is attempting to release a “noisier” album in 2013. Frontman Dylan Baldi told MTV Hive that he's written the majority of the new material the group plans to record in April, adding that it’s “less melodic” and “less straightforward” than Attack. Baldi also says none of the tracks have words yet, but that at least one song “sounds a lot like early Wire,” so that’s something. He also says he wants to record or write at least one album a year, a la Louis C.K., “or else I’ll feel like I’m lazy.”
