CMT announces Nashville aftershow, goes ahead and calls it Nashchat
Ensuring that no moment of twangy drama or shitkicker harmony goes undiscussed, CMT has announced that it’ll be complementing its recently acquired Nashville with a Talking Dead-style aftershow of its own. The new series will air digitally, and be hosted by country music personality Amy Brown. Also, they’re calling it Nashchat—not to be confused with NashTalk, a podcast we just made up about the best episodes of Nash Bridges, or BridgeChat, a similarly fictitious show about structures connecting various masses of land. Nashchat promises to feature lots of behind-the-scenes footage from the series (Nashville, that is, not Nash Bridges) and an opening night interview with long-time cast member Chris Carmack. It’ll kick off on Thursday night on Facebook Live, right after Nashville’s fifth season premiere.
