As reported by punknews.org, the likenesses of Kurt Cobain, Sid Vicious, Joey Ramone, and Joe Strummer are being used in a new print campaign advertising Doc Martens boots in the U.K. The ads and posters depict each of the four deceased icons dressed as angels, perched on clouds, and wearing Docs. Said some ad guy: "Showing them still wearing their Docs in heaven dramatized the boots' durability perfectly."
