Coldplay announces world tour to support new album
Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams—an album that features not only Beyoncé and Noel Gallagher, but also Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy and Chris Martin’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow—will be in stores on December 4, and now the band has announced it will be going on a world tour to support the album. Or, since Martin once compared it to “the last Harry Potter book,” maybe it’s more accurate to say that the band will be going on a magical quest to destroy all of the horcuxes so it can defeat the evil Lord Voldemort once and for all? That’s probably not more accurate, but the band does claim that this will be its final album, so maybe it’ll still end with Chris Martin sacrificing his life to fulfill a prophecy, but then Dumbledore’s ghost will show up and tell him he doesn’t really have to die, even though that seems really easy and random.
Anyway, Coldplay is going on tour, and though none of the stops are in the United States yet, real Coldplay fans shouldn’t have a problem justifying a road trip to Gelsenkirchen or Bogotá.
