The highly anticipated gun-fu action thriller John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters today, and according to our own Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, the movie lives up to the hype created by its predecessor. In his B+ review, he writes, “John Wick: Chapter 2 ups the conceptual abstraction, sending the limb-snapping, pistol-toting hero on a symbolic journey through the afterlife, from Roman catacombs to a secret kingdom of the New York City homeless and a delirious museum gala.” In short, it’s over-the-top in a good way.
