Comedian Ian Karmel says befriending the Portland Trail Blazers was the pinnacle of his career

The Portland Trail Blazers are currently sporting the 5th-best record in the NBA this season, and are primed for the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs. All of this is great news for comedian, actor, and Portland native Ian Karmel, as he’s a huge Blazers fan. Karmel’s a regular at Moda Center, and has managed to build a relationship with Blazers stars Damian Lillard and Meyers Leonard. At SXSW, we talked to Karmel about his obsession with the Blazers, and his budding friendships with Lillard and Leonard.
