Comedian John Roy loves kale but hates coffee

John Roy walked into the A.V. Club studio and immediately felt like he belonged there. He shares a love of geeky pop culture with us, and immediately put that knowledge to work, seeing host Alex McLevy’s Rush T-shirt and launching into tales of attending concerts. He joined us in the Late Night Snack Pantry to talk about the joys of pizza, the difficulties of getting healthy food late at night when you’re on the road, and the unusual eating schedule of the touring comedian. He was more than happy to hold court on all sorts of topics, and given the quality of stories about junk food that he had, we hope he doesn’t stick to only organic foods any time soon.
