Comedians are humiliating themselves for charity

The only thing funnier than a good joke is an awkward photo of the person who told that joke, which is why Stephen Colbert and Nick Kroll’s new fundraising effort is so inspired. On The Late Show last night, the pair agreed to donate money to Puerto Rico’s post-hurricane recovery efforts every time a celebrity unearthed a cringeworthy photo from their youth.

And here’s a shocker: Colbert and Kroll weren’t always the stone-cold hunks they are today.

Dubbed the #PuberMe challenge, the effort has resulted in a vast swath of celebs proving that adolescent smoothness isn’t necessarily a precursor to celebrity. See for yourself below.

Never one to overlook an easy target, Kroll’s been offering up his take on some of the most shocking pics, including this nugget of gold from Judd Apatow.
