Comedy Central announces premiere dates for Broad City, Workaholics, more
Perhaps sensing that viewers were growing anxious to find out if Atticus and Poppi live happily ever after, Comedy Central has announced the premiere dates for Broad City and other shows in its 2016 lineup. Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer will return for a third season of questionable living in the city on February 17 at 10 p.m. ET. This time around, Abbi and Ilana’s questionable New York adventures will include “a trip to the DMV, a rat in the apartment, going clubbing, taking on new job responsibilities, visiting Abbi’s dad and new hook-ups.”
Other returning shows on Comedy Central’s slate include Workaholics, which premieres its sixth season on January 14, and Tosh.0, which will have its season eight premiere on February 9. Ari Shaffir will be back to host season two of This Is Not Happening on February 23, and you’ll have to wait until March 3 to be invited back to Adam DeVine’s House Party.
The network also announced the series premiere dates for two new series from Comedy Central alums Nikki Glaser (Inside Amy Schumer) and Jillian Bell (Workaholics). Not Safe With Nikki Glaser premieres February 9, and will feature Glaser chatting with fellow comics and engaging in “social experiments,” as well as airing pre-taped segments. And Idiotsitter, which premieres January 14, will see Bell play an awful, rich person who hires someone to look after her while she’s on house arrest.
