Comedy Central gives Broad City two more seasons, greenlights new Ilana Glazer pot comedy

The Hollywood Reporter brings the glorious news that Comedy Central has renewed Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer’s Broad City for a fourth and fifth season. In more good news, we’ll also be seeing even more of Glazer on our TVs, as the network also greenlighted Time Traveling Bong, a three-episode limited series co-created by Glazer and Broad City co-executive producers Paul Downs and Lucia Aniello (Downs and Aniello are also co-writing the all-ladies remake of 21 Jump Street, as well as another vaguely women-driven comedy).

Time Traveling Bong will debut on Comedy Central, appropriately enough, on April 20, following the third season finale of Broad City and will air for three consecutive nights. The limited series is about two cousins (played by Glazer and Downs, who also plays trainer Trey on Broad City) who, as the title implies, discover a time traveling bong that allows them to literally lose their sense of time and space as they get high and travel to different periods. But when the bong breaks—as all bongs do—they are stuck traveling around the space-time continuum.

The third season of Broad City will premiere on February 17, 2016, so if you want nomo fomo, mark that date down, set those DVRs, and then order Domino’s for after.
