Comedy Central gives Workaholics a third season

Having at last found a live-action sitcom that it didn’t immediately want to kill with fire, Comedy Central has issued a third-season renewal to Workaholics, basic cable’s No. 1 source for talk of weed-smoking and Juggalos, now that Larry King is off the air. For those who have never seen the show about three telemarketers living, laughing, and occasionally even livaughing, allow Wikipedia to explain: “It is a slacker comedy, with the title intended as irony.” The word “irony” is linked, should you need further elaboration. And for those who have developed a vague aversion to the show without even watching it, yes, that one guy still looks like he’s auditioning to be in Foghat, which could potentially be the root of the problem.
