Defying everything we thought we knew about Comedy Central, the network has granted a second-season pickup to Workaholics, the freshman series about three young men who are gainfully employed in an uncertain economy, yet they waste this privilege on slothful pursuits, thereby hastening America’s inevitable fall to the great nation of China. Also, pot jokes. Anyway, a second season is a real rarity when it comes to Comedy Central sitcoms, so here’s hoping the show’s creators don’t similarly squander their opportunity.
