Comedy Central greenlights a comedy set in an insane asylum

Proving once and for all that it's the “craziest ” place for comedy (and perhaps raising some concerns about political correctness), Comedy Central has greenlit a new single-camera comedy pilot set in an insane asylum. According to Deadline, the show is called Crazy House and follows two friends who accidentally send their boss into a coma through an office prank gone wrong, plead insanity, and wind up in a mental hospital. The project is written and co-executive produced by comedians Nick Turner and Lee Rubenstein; Turner has performed on Jimmy Fallon, while Rubenstein is a contributor to SNL's Weekend Update. Overall, Crazy House sounds like a weirdly comic version of American Horror Story: Asylum, so hopefully Jessica Lange will show up at some point and try to shave someone's head.
