As first reported back in May, Comedy Central recently began developing a series version of Rob McKittrick’s Waiting… to fill the scant few hours a week when that movie isn’t on their schedule. Today Deadline says that show has now gone to pilot, with McKittrick handling the writing and executive producing duties on an adaptation of his story about a group of employees laughing, loving, and doing fucked-up things to people’s food at Shenaniganz restaurant. Who will play “sitcom version of Ryan Reynolds”?
