Comedy Central orders another round of Drunk History

Comedy Central is due to take the stage at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, but before the network rolls out its new lineup, it’s stocking up on more of its established faves. Derek Waters’ Drunk History has just been renewed for a fifth season of inebriated lecturing. The new season will debut later this year, and will consist of 14 episodes. That’s a bigger episode order than the show’s ever gotten, which isn’t surprising, given its Emmy win and general hilarity. When approached at his local watering hole (presumably) with the news, Waters said he was “so excited and grateful to do a fifth season. Oh what a ride it’s been! Thank you for driving me home.” There’s currently no word on which celebs will be downing shots before dropping some knowledge on viewers.
