Comedy Central picks up sibling comedy from SNL’s head writers
Deadline reports that Comedy Central has picked up another project from Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video production company, courtesy of Saturday Night Live head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. Kelly and Schneider have sold the network—which recently also aired Broadway’s Detroiters, from Sam Richardson and Tim Robertson—on a still-untitled show about struggling siblings living in the shadow of their suddenly famous 12-year-old little brother.
Kelly’s past credits include Broad City and the recent Molly Shannon vehicle Other People, while Schneider worked on Netflix’s Master Of None. Both of them were named SNL’s co-head writers at the beginning of the recently resurgent sketch show’s current season.
