Musing aloud in a humorously rhetorical manner as to whether it might be amusing if someone gave Daniel Tosh’s show, like, three more seasons right now, executives at Comedy Central concluded that, ho ho, indeed it would, and set about realizing its fanciful jest posthaste. Tosh.0 has remained a huge ratings hit for the network, ranking as the No. 1 entertainment series across the whole of television in its time slot among men 18 to 24—men who briefly pause from their Proust and scrimshaw to enjoy life’s eternal carnival on the World Wide Web, including delights such as sports-related errors in judgment, or maybe gorillas fucking. They now have at least three more years of that to look forward to, as Comedy Central resolves to hold Tosh down to provide the continued pleasure of others—something that is always funny.
