Comedy Central sets date/secures line-up for Larry The Cable Guy roast, end of laughter as we know it

File this under "Things that are necessary": Larry The Cable Guy—best known for his ubiquitous catchphrase, "Let's go accomplish that task, together"—is set to get the roast treatment (according to The Futon Critic). Comedy Central has secured Nick DiPaolo, Jeff Foxworthy, Greg Giraldo, Toby Keith, Lisa Lampanelli, Dan Marino, Jeffrey Ross, and perpetually glasses-ed Drew Carey for the event, slated for Sunday, March 15.

It remains to be seen how it's possible to make fun of someone who's, essentially, a walking parody of himself. But then again, how is anything about Larry The Cable Guy possible?
