Comic-Con will get a sneak peek at Luke Cage

After sitting out the geektravaganza that is San Diego Comic-Con last year, Marvel Studios is set to make a big return to the hallowed halls of the San Diego Convention Center, with Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’s James Gunn both suggesting that they’ll be there in not-so-vague tweets. Now, Deadline is saying that Marvel’s Netflix branch will be showing up as well, with a special sneak peek at the upcoming Luke Cage series.

Star Mike Colter will be there, along with showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and co-star Alfre Woodward (who is playing a local Harlem politician who may also be a big villain). They’ll most likely be bringing along preview footage of show, hopefully in the form of a big, attention-grabbing trailer. Comic-Con is being held from July 21-24 and Luke Cage premieres on Netflix on September 30, so a trailer—or any kind of footage, really—would be nice.
