Get ready to have Spider-Man shoot his wad all over your face, and your girlfriend's face and to cover the theater with his sticky emissions because The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Marc Webb's forthcoming reboot of the venerable superhero franchise will be released in 3-D.
The film now has a release date (July 12th, 2012, mark your calendars!) but casting remains up in the air, though it's already been confirmed that Tobey McGuire will join Sam Raimi in not returning to the series.
