ComiXology attempts to clean up Apple's bukkake mess

Everyone can relax now. Apple doesn't actually hate blowjobs, and bukkake is A-OK. After yesterday's news that Apple banned Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga #12 over a depiction of multi-dicked facial action—a controversy that sparked accusations of homophobia on Apple’s part—Apple and ComiXology want to make sure everyone knows that gay sex is totally cool with them. In a post on the ComiXology blog, CEO David Steinberger clarified the controversy, saying that, actually, Apple was not behind the supposed rejection of Saga #12. Rather, based on a misunderstanding of Apple's policies, the digital distributor decided independently not to release the issue. After being contacted this morning by Apple (no doubt after receiving plenty of angry messages), ComiXology has announced that it will be making the issue available for all your off-kilter sci-fi needs. There's a valuable lesson to be gleaned from all this: Always double-check a business's bukkake policy, so you don't make a decision that will blow up in your face.
