Showtime has released a new teaser for its upcoming revival of Twin Peaks, and the network has gone for the proverbial money shot this time, showing Special Agent Dale Cooper (or something that looks like him, in any case) stepping out of the darkness with the accompanying text “The Return.” It’s not much, but damn if it isn’t good to see Kyle MacLachlan back in a neatly-pressed suit. Plus, it disproves our theory that all of the marketing for the new Twin Peaks—which returns to TV on May 21—would be based around director David Lynch shoving pastries in his face, which is probably a good thing for the long-running health of the show. (And Lynch himself, for that matter.)
