Coreyography and kitchen gadgets: Here’s what’s on sale on Amazon today

In an effort to both serve our readers and help support The A.V. Club, we are going to post daily links to deals and interesting items that we find over on Amazon. If you use these links to click through and buy something—not just the thing you clicked—on Amazon, we will see a portion of that income. You don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, but if you do, know that we appreciate it.

Broadchurch season one ($20.92)
Broadchurch season two ($17.99)

Broadchurch is the perfect blend of British TV drama and detective show, and if you’re at all into David Tennant, then you have to make sure to see this.

Coreyography: A Memoir ($9.99 on Kindle, $9.93 for a paperback)

Sean O’Neal mentioned this book in his piece about Corey Feldman’s Today Show appearance earlier this week, and since then, several readers have purchased it. Why not join the flock? We swear it’s a worthwhile read.

Love Between The Covers ($4.99 to rent, $7.99 to own)

The romance novel industry is a multimillion dollar juggernaut that just doesn’t get the respect it deserves. Love Between The Covers is a documentary that attempts to right that wrong by looking honestly and openly at the genre’s authors and fans and, according to Amazon’s listing, examining the “sisterhood that’s pioneering the digital revolution while finding fortune, fulfillment, and a global community.”

Kohler Moxie showerhead and wireless speaker ($128.52)

While waterproof Bluetooth speakers really aren’t that expensive, you can’t beat the simplicity of a showerhead that actually is a speaker. That’s what Kohler’s done with the Moxie, which we first touted all the way back in 2014 when we included it in our gift guide.

The Book Thief ($3.99 to rent, $4.99 to own)

Geoffrey Rush and Emily Watson star in The Book Thief, a movie we didn’t really like that much.

Outward Hound neoprene dog life jacket ($16.66)

Keep your pup safe on the high seas.

SneakyBooks recycled hollow book safe with flask ($39.00)

Embrace your spy side with this book safe, which isn’t actually that safe, given that there’s no lock, but it does hold a flask, so that’s pretty neat.

Digital forehead thermometer ($28.99)

Why are you still using one of those boring “under the tongue” thermometers when there’s a product like this on the market? Just rub it across your forehead and get your temperature in seconds.

Onion goggles ($15.87)

Battle the stinging sulfuric vapors kicked off by onions with these goggles, which should help those who struggle with simple knife work.

Egg separator fish ($2.90)

This is another fairly useless kitchen tool, but that doesn’t mean it’s not fun. Use this fish to suck up egg yolks while leaving the whites intact.

Car air refresher and oil diffuser ($17.99)

Are you an Uber driver who just wants to pack your car full of sickly-sweet strawberry scent, thus aggravating your passengers and making your clothes reek for eternity? You’ll want to pick up this item, which also boasts an LED light that cycles through seven different colors that the listing says can help “relieve tiredness while driving.”
