Courtney Love says she’s interested in having her own breed of “silver glitter rose.” That tidbit comes from Love’s YouTube channel, where she often posts videos about random stuff she’s doing, thinking, snorting, etc.
As Love notes in the clip, it’s not totally outlandish to think she could have a rose named after her someday. Dolly Parton, Metallica, and Loretta Lynn all have breeds of roses named for them, though none of those acts had a specific hand in the development of said roses—especially Metallica, who may or may not have been the inspiration for the light pink Metallica rose. Also, none of them wanted “a hybrid rose that’s glittering and silver.”
Lest you think she’s kidding, Love says she’s literally “crazy” about roses and has made arrangements to have 1/100th of her estate go toward the development of said rose.
