Just a few days after it led to the first-ever defamation suit filed over a celebrity’s Twitter feed, Courtney Love’s account has been deleted, with users searching for their daily photos of Love in various states of undress and animal husbandry directed instead to this ominous web page. Although some outlets are reporting the account as officially suspended, followers of Love report that she herself threatened to take it down, allegedly posting the following on her account (now inaccessible, obviously): “the end.am shutting down all social media tomorrow first thing, from here on in i have NO Comment, includes FB, Just waiting to be asked!’ It was, perhaps, the “Après moi, le déluge” of tweets.
