Crackle to give us more of The Art Of More with a second season

If you’re suffering from luxury-withdrawal symptoms—which include licking the pages of a Hammacher Schlemmer catalog —after having made your way through all of Crackle’s The Art Of More, you’ll be happy to learn that the show has just been renewed for a second season. Sony’s free streaming service shared the news in a press release issued just two weeks after the show premiered, with Sony executive vice president Eric Berger dubbing it Crackle’s “most ambitious series to date.”

The Art Of More follows Graham Connor (Christian Cooke), an account executive at an upscale auction house who also unloads precious items in the black market to individuals like Sam Brukner (Dennis Quaid), a wealthy blowhard, and eccentric rich guy Arthur Davenport (Cary Elwes). Kate Bosworth stars as Roxanna, Graham’s competition for patrician customers. The series, which is Crackle’s first scripted one-hour drama, has racked up viewers like so many stock options; two million people have watched since the show premiered, more than half of which had never used Crackle before (who presumably did not watch Joe Dirt 2).

Season two of The Art Of More will feature 10 hour-long episodes, and filming is set to begin in early 2016. The complete first season is currently available on Crackle, if you’re interested in downing some opulence.
