Crashing exec Judd Apatow issues message of support after Artie Lange’s recent arrest
Last Sunday, news reports came out stating that comedian Artie Lange had been arrested for “alleged possession of cocaine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia” near his New Jersey home. Yesterday, Lange—who currently has a recurring role on Pete Holmes’ new HBO show, Crashing—opened up about the arrest on Twitter, assuring fans that he’s “doing great.”
For his part, Crashing producer Judd Apatow—who previously noted that Lange will be back on the seventh and eight episodes of the new series—voiced his support for Lange, a stand-up, author, and actor who’s never hidden his struggles with various addictions from the world.
