Cuba has issued a statement today condemning the nearly 50 years of trade restrictions, travel bans, and all those times the CIA tried to kill its leader the new video game Call Of Duty: Black Ops—specifically an in-game mission involving an attempted virtual assassination of a young Fidel Castro, which the island’s state-run media said would “turn American children into sociopaths.” Cuba said the game “attempts to legitimize murder and assassination in the name of entertainment” (when they are clearly things that should only be used to gain political power), while adding, “This new video game is doubly perverse. On the one hand, it glorifies the illegal assassination attempts the United States government planned against the Cuban leader … and on the other, it stimulates sociopathic attitudes in North American children and adolescents.” Geez, when did Cuba turn into America's overbearing, communist mom?
