Culture Club giveth, and Culture Club taketh away

Culture Club, the ’80s pop band behind “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want To Hurt Me,” announced in August that it would be recording a new album and performing a bunch of shows in November. But on the cusp of those concerts—which were to begin this week—the band has cancelled, issuing a statement that frontman Boy George has a polyp on his throat. The new album, Tribes, is still due early next year, and the band hopes to make up the dates then as well. There’s a new song below, on which George’s voice sound pretty different than it did in the band’s heyday.
